Adding an installment payment on WooCommerce
When a payment is made in installments, an authorization request is made only for the first installment. As a result, you will need to verify that the following deadlines were not denied at the time of application. The authorization will be automatically carried out one day before the capture date.
It is possible to be notified by e-mail in case one of the following installment payments is refused. All you need to do is enable and configure the Installment payment rejection e-mail rule. This rule can be found in the Settings menu > Notification rules > E-mail sent to the merchant of Merchant Back Office.
To integrate payment in installments:
- Sign in to the Wordpress Back Office.
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings.
- Click the Payments tab.
- Click on Monetico - Payment in installments module.
- Activate the module via the Activation parameter.
- In the Payment Options section, click Add.
- Fill in the label of the payment option.Example: Pay in 3 installments with no fees
- Enter a minimum/maximum amount to offer payment in instalments within this range.
- Enter a total number of due dates in the Number box.Example: 3
- Enter the time in days between two due dates via the Number parameter.Example: 30
- Save your changes.
