Immediate payment

During an immediate payment, the payment amount is immediately debited from the buyer’s account. This is the default mode when you set up the PayPal contract on Monetico Retail.

In order to create an immediate payment request, you must transmit a capture delay set to zero.

The validation mode included in the payment request will then be ignored.

Capture delay

Redirection mode: vads_capture_delay

Embedded mode (JavaScript): transactionOptions.cardOptions.captureDelay

Validation mode

Redirection mode: vads_validation_mode

Embedded mode (JavaScript): transactionOptions.cardOptions.manualValidation

This mode does not allow:
  • deferred payments,
  • manual payment validation,
  • payment updates,
  • payment cancellation.
