Payment on shipment
Deferred payment allows the buyer to be charged the total amount of their order in a single transaction, but at a later date.
Payment upon shipment allows the buyer to pay for each product in their order after it has been shipped. The buyer confirms the total amount at the time of the order but is partially charged before each shipment.
In both cases, the buyer confirms the order and then makes the payment later, in compliance with the DSP2 regulations. If the merchant plans to ship more than 7 days after the order is placed or in multiple shipments, they must apply payment upon shipment.
